Marty Mattessich
Marty Mattessich is pleased to announce his candidacy for a second term on the Northvale Council. As a dedicated community advocate and proven leader, Marty continues to bring his positive and friendly demeanor to our town. With one term under his belt, Marty remains committed to listening to residents and delivering results.
In his current role as the liaison for the Department of Public Works (DPW), Marty has been instrumental in establishing clear and consistent communications, resulting in a more effective and efficient department. He has been particularly focused on the much-needed park improvements, including the installation of new fencing and dugouts at Hogan Park and the construction of a new basketball court at Veterans Park. Marty is also an advocate for seniors, representing the Senior Center and Golden Age Club initiatives.
Marty believes in transparent governance, inclusive decision-making, and building a safer, stronger, and more connected Northvale.
Marty and his wife, Annette, have resided in Northvale for the past 25 years, raising two children, Christian and Carly. While their children have grown, Marty and his wife remain deeply committed to the future success of our community.
If re-elected, Marty will continue to prioritize practical solutions, fiscal responsibility, and a voice for every resident.
