Northvale students attend 2 school districts. Each district has it’s own School Board and Superintendent. While each can operate under its own curriculum, the local schools need to prepare the students for the high school curriculum.
- Northvale Public School (K-8)
- School Board is made up of 5 Northvale Residents
- Northvale land owners pay for School via the local school tax
- Northern Valley Regional (9-12)
- School Board is made up of 9 representatives from each of the 7 municipalities. Northvale (1), Norwood (1), Harrington Park (1), Old Tappan (2), Closter (2), Demarest (1), and Haworth (1).
- Each town contributes to the Regional School tax based on the number of students enrolled each year.
